TUBENOX has released a new MTB Trail Tube for 26×3.0–4.0 tires. Made from TPU and weighing approximately 102g, it is intended for wide-tire mountain bikes where a standard MTB tube may not provide the correct fit.
The new size is available for sample orders, wholesale supply and private label projects.

Product Overview
Wide 26-inch tires are still used on fat bikes, trail bikes, utility bikes and several specialist off-road models. These tires require a tube with enough volume to expand evenly inside the casing.
The new TUBENOX model covers tire widths from 3.0 to 4.0 inches and uses the 559 mm rim diameter. Its TPU construction keeps the tube compact when folded, making it easier to store in a frame bag, backpack or workshop repair kit.
Key Specifications
Product: MTB Trail TPU Tube
Wheel Size: 26 inch
Tire Size: 26×3.0–4.0
ETRTO Diameter: 559
Material: TPU
Weight: Approximately 102g
Application: Wide-tire MTB and off-road bicycles

Customization: Valve, tube color, logo and packaging
Valve type and length can be adjusted according to the rim profile and the requirements of each project.
Developed for Wider MTB Tires
A tube intended for a 2.0-inch mountain bike tire should not be stretched into a 3.0- or 4.0-inch casing. Excessive stretching may create uneven wall thickness and place additional stress around the valve and welded areas.
This model is produced specifically for higher-volume tires. The wider tube body provides a more suitable fit inside compatible 26-inch tire casings while maintaining the compact characteristics of TPU.
Before installation, riders should confirm both the tire width and rim diameter. The tire sidewall should indicate a compatible 26-inch size with a 559 mm bead-seat diameter.
Compact for Trail Repairs
Wide butyl tubes are often bulky and difficult to carry. They can occupy most of a small saddle bag and add noticeable weight to a trail repair kit.
TPU allows the new tube to fold into a smaller package. This gives riders more space for tire levers, a compact pump, CO₂ inflators, patches and other repair equipment.
For shops and distributors, the smaller folded dimensions can also reduce the size of the individual retail box.
Recommended Applications
Wide-Tire Trail Bikes
Suitable for compatible 26-inch mountain bikes fitted with tires between 3.0 and 4.0 inches wide.
Fat Bikes
The tube can be used with selected fat-bike setups that match the 559 rim diameter and specified tire-width range.
Mixed-Surface Riding
A practical option for bikes used on forest trails, loose gravel, sand and uneven off-road routes.
Emergency Spare Tube
Its compact TPU construction makes it easier to carry as a backup, including on bikes that normally use a tubeless setup.

OEM Options for MTB Brands
The new MTB Trail Tube can be supplied as an individual TUBENOX product or developed for a customer's private label range.
Available OEM options include:
- Custom tube colors
- Different valve specifications
- Brand logo application

Sample production is available before mass manufacturing. Brands can review the tube specification, valve compatibility and packaging artwork before confirming an order.

Production and Quality Control
Wide TPU tubes require stable forming and careful control around the valve connection and welded sections. During production, the tubes are checked for dimensions, appearance, valve assembly and air retention.
For OEM orders, tire size, rim diameter and valve details should be confirmed during the sample stage. This is especially important for wide rims, where valve-hole design and rim depth may differ between bicycle models.
Expanding the TUBENOX MTB Range
The addition of the 26×3.0–4.0 MTB Trail Tube extends the TUBENOX range beyond standard cross-country and trail tire widths. It gives bicycle brands, importers and retailers another option for serving specialist wide-tire bikes.
TUBENOX also supplies TPU tubes for 26-inch, 27.5-inch and 29-inch MTB wheels, covering lightweight XC, trail, enduro and wider all-terrain applications.
