TUBENOX has added a new 700×35–45C gravel bike inner tube to its TPU product range. At approximately 46g, this model covers many of the tire widths currently used on gravel, all-road and light touring bikes.
The tube is designed for riders who want to reduce wheel weight or carry a smaller spare without moving to an excessively narrow road tube.

Product Overview
Gravel bikes are now used across a wide mix of surfaces, from paved roads and compact gravel to forest tracks and longer bikepacking routes. That makes tire compatibility especially important when selecting an inner tube.
This new model fits 700C tires from 35C to 45C, covering common gravel sizes such as 700×35C, 700×38C, 700×40C, 700×42C and 700×45C.
The TPU construction keeps the finished weight at approximately 46g, considerably lighter and more compact than a conventional butyl tube in the same size range. It can be installed as the main inner tube or carried as a backup for compatible tubeless setups.

Made for Current Gravel Tire Sizes
Gravel tire widths have gradually moved beyond the narrower cyclocross-style sizes that were common several years ago. Many current gravel bikes now use tires between 38C and 45C to provide better control and comfort on loose or uneven ground.
The 700×35–45C range gives bicycle brands and distributors one tube that can cover several popular tire sizes. This simplifies stock planning and reduces the need to carry separate tubes for every small change in tire width.
Customers should still check the tire marking and rim diameter before installation. A 700C gravel tire should normally carry an ETRTO diameter ending in 622.
46g TPU Construction
At approximately 46g, this tube reduces rotating weight compared with a standard gravel butyl tube. The difference is particularly noticeable when tubes are fitted to both wheels.
TPU also allows the tube to fold into a much smaller package. For riders, this means more room in a saddle bag or bikepacking repair kit. For retailers, the reduced folded size makes it possible to use compact packaging that takes up less display and storage space.
The goal is simple: offer a lighter, easier-to-carry tube without limiting it to narrow road tires.
Where It Fits Best

Gravel Riding
The tube is suitable for gravel bikes using medium-width tires on compact dirt roads, farm tracks, forest routes and mixed-surface rides.
All-Road Bikes
For bikes that spend most of their time on pavement but occasionally move onto rough roads or light gravel, the 35–45C range provides useful flexibility.
Touring and Bikepacking
A compact spare matters when frame bags are already carrying tools, clothing and other equipment. The folded TPU tube takes up less room than a comparable butyl option.
Emergency Tubeless Backup
Even riders using tubeless tires may need an inner tube after a larger puncture or damaged valve. The low weight and small folded size make this model practical to carry on longer rides.
A Practical Option for Bicycle Brands
The new tube has also been developed with OEM and wholesale programs in mind. One size range can cover several common gravel tire specifications, making it easier for brands to add a gravel tube to an existing road or MTB product line.
TUBENOX can support different project requirements, including:
- Custom tube colors
- Multiple Presta valve lengths
- Printed or applied brand logos
- Individual retail boxes
- Private label packaging
- Barcode and specification labels
- Bulk packaging for workshops and distributors
- Sample production before a full order
Packaging artwork can be adjusted for retail stores, online sales or distributor programs. Key information such as tire size, valve length, weight and installation notes can be printed clearly on the box.
Quality Checks During Production
TPU inner tubes require careful control of the welded areas, valve connection and finished dimensions. Each production batch is inspected for appearance, valve assembly and air retention before packing.
For custom projects, we recommend confirming the tire range, rim diameter, valve length, tube color and packaging requirements before sample production. This helps avoid compatibility or labeling problems during mass production.
Expanding the TUBENOX Gravel Range
The 700×35–45C model sits between narrow road tubes and wider adventure-bike options. It gives TUBENOX customers a practical specification for one of the most widely used sections of the gravel market.

Together with our road, MTB and BMX TPU inner tubes, the new gravel model allows bicycle brands and importers to build a more complete lightweight tube range under one private label.
